    • Dedicated spaces exist for children, young adults, leisure reading, studying and reference books, as well as a local collection room
    • There is also a room with the local papers dating back to their beginning
    • Meeting room holds 20 people and costs £7.50 per hour

Based upstairs in Helensburgh Library, The JLB Hub has accommodation for 6 service users, ample power points and access to a high-speed BT Business Internet network and wireless printing.

Hub subscribers will be offered the choice of the following three monthly subscription packages:

Gold Package:

Full monthly opening hours (approx. 182 hours) – £149.99

Silver Package:

81 hours (equivalent to 2 full weeks) – £99.99

Bronze Package:

40.5 hours (equivalent to 1 full week) – £69.99

  • The hours booked within the Silver and Bronze Packages can be spread over the full calendar month, in other words they do not have to be booked in weekly or fortnightly blocks.
  • Office subscribers will have free access to meeting rooms (subject to availability) and be able to use the library as their business address.
  • An office subscription is personal to the user and cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
  • A business or organisation can take out an office subscription but will not be permitted to sub-let their space/desk.
  • Where a business or organisation has an office subscription all corporate users of their space/desk will have to sign the terms and conditions of use.
  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time up to the due date of their next payment.
  • No refunds will be made for subscriptions cancelled.
  • A subscription ceases contemporaneously when a monthly payment is not made.
  • liveArgyll may cancel subscriptions if users breach the terms and conditions of use.

The cost of booking desks for casual use is:

  • Full day = £24.99 Half day = £14.99

Casual users can book desk space for either the full day or half day as defined below:

Full day

  • 9.30am – 4.30pm (7 hours)
  • Thursday: 9.30am – 6.30pm (9 hours)

Half day

  • 9.30am – 1pm (3.5 hours)
  • 1pm – 4.30pm (3.5 hours)
  • Thursday: 9.30am – 2pm (4.5 hours)
  • Thursday: 2pm – 6.30pm (4.5 hours)
  • Saturday: 9.30am – 1pm (3.5 hours)
