Community Group and Sports Club Accreditation

Welcome to the liveArgyll sports club and community group accreditation.

Our vision is that our communities and visitors lead richer and more active lives.

The provision of a high quality community network is key to this and our accreditation scheme rewards clubs and groups who are a safe, well organised, inclusive and are making a difference to their local community.

Accreditation is a simple step by step process that has been designed to make it as easy as possible for sports clubs and community groups to gain recognition for the work they do in improving their quality and infrastructure.

Our accreditation is valid for one year, and is open to all community groups and sports clubs who are based in Argyll and Bute.

All groups who achieve liveArgyll’s accreditation will be eligible for:

  • 20% facility booking discount for all liveArgyll pitches, school lets, halls and community centres excluding small meeting rooms.
  • 20% discount on any Child Protection,First Aid and Disability inclusion courses delivered by liveArgyll.
  • Recognition on the liveArgyll website, and use of liveArgyll Accreditation logo on club branding.
  • Support from professional staff within the Active Schools and Sport team (sports clubs only).

How do groups become accredited?

Groups should register their intent to become accredited by completing the registration form below. Information on each of the criteria can be found under the form.

CPO must have attended the Children’s First Child Well Being Protection Officer course or equivalent within the last three years.
